In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings in olive oil and season them with Dad's All Purpose rub. Toss them around to make sure each piece is nicely seasoned.
Heat up the grill to 375 degrees and set for indirect heat. Arrange the wings directly on the grate.
Grill the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 185 degrees.
In a sauce pan combine all the remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
When the wings are ready, toss them in the sweet and spicy sauce, plate them up, serve and enjoy!
Notes
Cook chicken wings at a higher temperature to get a crispy skin. I like the range of 350-375 degrees.
