In a large bowl, toss the chicken wing in olive oil and season them with lemon pepper seasoning.
Preheat the grill to 350 degrees and set it for indirect heat.
Arrange the wings directly on the grate, making sure to leave space between each one. Cook for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings reach an internal temperature of 185 degrees.
In a sauce pan add a stick of butter, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, lemon pepper seasoning and chopped parsley.
Bring to a simmer over low heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
When the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl and toss with that delicious, fragrant sauce.
Plate the wings and finish with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Cook chicken wings at a higher temperature to get a crispy skin. I like the range of 350-375 degrees. Simmer the sauce over low heat and just long enough to melt the butter and mix all the ingredients together.
